QFS delivered a varied specialist-access package at Marshgate, UCL’s major teaching and research building at its East London campus.
The works included a suspended access platform, hoist run-offs, guardrails and internal atrium access. External scaffolding supported cladding installation, while pedestrian-protection walkways and weather-protection screens helped safeguard the workforce and public interfaces around the building.
The scale and architectural complexity of Marshgate required each access solution to integrate with the programme and the needs of several specialist trades. QFS adapted the package as work moved through the structure, envelope and internal spaces.
