QFS was appointed to deliver the scaffolding and access package for Taxi House, a major mixed-use development situated beside the Grand Union Canal in Westbourne Park, London.
Ranging from three to 12 storeys, the development provides 332 serviced accommodation rooms alongside commercial, retail and community spaces. It also includes extensive resident facilities, including a swimming pool, wellbeing centre and cinema, with the overall scheme designed to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating.
The restricted waterside location, varying building heights and need to construct around the existing Westminster Cleansing Depot created significant logistical and access challenges. QFS worked closely with the client to coordinate scaffold erection, adaptations and dismantling with the construction programme and the requirements of multiple trades.
Our team maintained safe and reliable access throughout the project, responding quickly as the structure and façade works progressed. Taxi House demonstrates QFS’s ability to support complex, high-quality developments on constrained London sites through careful planning, effective coordination and responsive site management.
