QFS delivered a broad range of scaffolding and access solutions for the K1 Knightsbridge development on Basil Street, where construction activity had to be managed around one of London’s busiest retail and pedestrian environments.
Pedestrian walkways protected public routes, while NIKO lifting beams, loading bays and HAKI staircases supported movement around the site. Lift-shaft access, blockwork scaffolds and courtyard access scaffolds served key internal work areas, with a birdcage scaffold providing access to the roof trusses.
The constrained footprint and complex interfaces demanded detailed sequencing, responsive alterations and consistently high standards of housekeeping and public protection.
